This day started out with poor timing. The plan was to get up early to watch the tidal wave come in but we had made the decision to drive to Hopewell rocks the night before. This meant we were unable to watch the tide come in because the rocs is a park that doesn’t open till 9am -_-.
However, we were able to get in to the park a bit early and we got to see the ocean floor as well as walk on it when the tide went out which was really neat. I also Made a few Clues and saw a few clues!
There are also these awesome rock and cave formations made out of sandstone and layers of rock that the tides have washed away over the years and they are nicknamed flower pots for the plants that grow on the top!
Once we Left Hopewell rocks, we made our way across New Brunswick to Hartland. This is the home of the world’s longest Covered Bridge!
It was a pretty long bridge that is also pretty old – built originally in 1901. We took the time to read about it and walk it over as well – I don’t know if I have ever seen so many spider webs and spiders on a structure!
After Leaving Hartland, we had a 7 hour drive ahead of us to hit Montreal. This was a long trek but we did get to see some neat scenery along the way once again. Canada is a pretty awesome place, and it’s crazy to think how much land it has to offer. And after seeing what we have, it’s kind of neat how unpopulated some of these areas are.
We finally made it to Montreal around 11pm that night and we pitched up camp once more so we could get a fairly early start the next day.
